The GMCO allows for easy aftermarket receiver installation in newer GM vehicles that utilize the Class II data bus. This integration module retains the factory door chime and warning tones (low fuel, seat belt, high temp, etc.) by decoding the Class II digital data bus and providing a warning tone through its own built-in speaker. Now you don’t have to retain the factory radio (and try to hide it somewhere) in newer GM vehicles. The GMCO plugs into the factory Molex (rectangular) connector and provides power, ground, and speaker leads. It even reports a "healthy status" to the vehicle’s data bus, and retains the RAP (retained accessory power) that automatically turns off your new radio when you exit the vehicle. The GMCO is not compatible with OnStar or Premium Bose systems (these vehicles require the GMAH24 or GMAH24B, available separately), but is compatible with standard (non-Premium) Bose systems.

Applications Any GM vehicle that uses the Class II data bus and does NOT have OnStar or a Premium Bose system

The GMAH24B plugs into the connectors in the dash and provides wiring for an aftermarket receiver. It includes on-board switching and amplification to provide OnStar signals through the front two speakers while automatically muting the aftermarket receiver. The GMAH24B plugs into the factory Molex (rectangular) connectors and provides power, ground, and speaker leads. It even reports a "healthy status" to the vehicle’s data bus, and retains the RAP (retained accessory power) that automatically turns off your new radio when you exit the vehicle. Fully compatible with Bose and Premium Bose systems. Non-Bose equipped vehicles should use the GMAH24, available separately.

The GMAHCM is an add-on chime module for use with the Peripheral GMAH24 and GMAH24B interface adapters. This module is required for many GM vehicle with OnStar and/or Bose systems to retain the factory door chime and warning tones (low fuel, seat belt, high temp, etc.) when you remove or bypass the factory amplifiers. The GMAHCM is also required when bypassing the factory amplifiers in Premium Bose-equipped vehicles. Wires into the output leads of the Peripheral GMAH24 or GMAH24B, available separately. Vehicles without OnStar or Bose systems may be able to use the Peripheral GMCO instead of the GMAHCM/GMAH24 combination. For use with the Peripheral GMAH24 or GMAH24B only.
